Wines
The first wine production at Mata Mouros Cellar dates back to 2005, with the release of the Imprevisto Ypsilon & Xelb wines. These early wines laid the foundation for what would become a decade-long project aimed at exploring the full potential of the estate's vineyards.
In 2012, the estate entered into a valuable technical and commercial agreement with the winemaking team at Herdade da Malhadinha Nova and the distribution team at Garrafeira Soares. With their expertise and support, new brand names were created, including Euphoria and the top-tier Convento do Paraíso wines. While the Imprevisto label was retained as an entry-level wine, it received a complete redesign.
Ten years later, in 2022, we celebrate the project's anniversary with the recent achievement of our Rosé Convento do Paraíso 2021, which was awarded the prestigious Great Gold Medal at the XIV Algarve Wine Competition. This award is a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality and the excellence that we strive to achieve in every bottle.
